UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

On this month of February, the stores stock up with hearts, stuffed teddy bears, roses, chocolates and so many beautiful post cards with love messages for our love ones. What a joy it is for many to have that special person in their life. We plan to eat out or cook a special dinner at home. All that is great for the family and couples. But on this day, I want to take advantage of this special occasion to focus on an unconditional love. Love like no other, can only be found in Jesus Christ. The One who promised to be with us all the days of our life (Matthews 28:20). Friends and family may come and go, some may even stay with us for years, but none will be with us until the end. Jesus’ love towards us surpasses all human understanding and many often is misunderstood but His love is still unconditional. Nothing can separate from the His love, he is always there when others fail, when others leave or maybe when others have given up on us. He sees our pain, struggles and is always willing to help those in need. He gave himself freely of his own will to come save humanity. What greater love than that? That he sacrificed himself to show us how much he genuinely loves us (Romans 5:8, 8:35-39).

AMOR INCONDICIONAL

En este mes de febrero, las tiendas repletas de corazones, juguetes, rosas, chocolates y tantas bellas postales con mensajes de amor para nuestro ser querido. ¿Qué gozo para muchos que tienen alguien especial en su vida? Hacemos planes para salir a comer o preparamos una exquisita comida en casa. Todo esto está muy bien para la familia y la pareja. Pero en este día, quiero tomar ventaja de esta ocasión especial para enfocarme en un amor incondicional. Amor como ningún otro se puede hallar en Cristo Jesús. El Único que prometió estar con nosotros todos los días de nuestra vida (Mateo 28:20). Amigos y familiares puede venir e irse, algunos hasta se quedan por años, pero ninguno puede estar con nosotros hasta el fin. El amor de Jesús hacia nosotros sobrepasa todo entendimiento humano y muchas veces es malentendido pero su amor sigue siendo incondicional. Nada nos puede separar de Su amor, Él siempre está allí cuando otros fallan, cuando otros se van aun cuando otros pierdan las esperanzas en ti. El ve nuestro dolor, nuestra lucha and siempre está allí para ayudarnos en los momentos de necesidad. Él se entregó asimismo de su propia voluntad para salvar la humanidad. ¿Qué amor más grande como este? Que el mismo se sacrificó para demostrarnos cuánto verdaderamente él nos ama (Romanos 5;8, 8:35-39).
